Why It’s Easier to Change the World Than You Think
Changing the world may seem like this abstract concept that involves a long process. But in reality the world is changing all the time. Whether that change is good or bad depends on how you view the world. It also depends on how you want the world to be.
And it is really easy to change the world, when you know what kind of world you want. In this post I will give you some easy tips to change the world according to your own wishes of the world you want to live in.
Ask yourself these questions:
1) How do you want other people to treat you?
2) What kind of person do you want to be?
3) If you could change anything in the world what would it be?
I will answer the questions from my own perspective to give examples of how you could answer them.
1) I want people to treat me with kindness and respect
2) I want to be a caring and kind person
3) I would make it more peaceful and sustainable
From these three answers you can easily tell that my personal values are connected to wanting the world and its people to thrive and reducing the amount of pain in the world. At least when it is put into a broader perspective.
With this knowledge I can now design ways in which I want to change the world - and so can you. Using the examples above there are a number of things that can be done.
For instance achieving world peace may seem like a big and unachievable goal for an individual. However, there are a lot of things that individuals can do to make a peaceful world around themselves. Things like having inner peace, conflict resolution and effective communication can all be tools to create a peaceful world from within to the surroundings.
So in order for one person to bring the world closer to becoming peaceful, that person can start by looking at themselves and their actions.
Small actions eventually create big results.
